Mother Rita MPC recognized at NATCCO Aurora Awards A Testament of Commitment and Effort Last October 5, 2024 at City of Dreams, Parañaque City, Manila. NATCCO Network conducted NATCCO AURORA Awards & Gala Night honoring cooperatives that have exemplified the highest ideals and contributed to the development of an "integrated cooperative network" with the theme "SHINING STARS OF EXCELLENCE. The event started at 3:30 PM with Red Carpet entrance walk program and at 4:30 PM the program continued the main event program proper. Mother Rita MPC, fortunately was one of the Cooperatives in Central Luzon that was awarded the recognition of SERVICES PATRON CHAMPION AWARD (Network Integration champion) and DIGITAL ADOPTER AWARD. These awards are a testament to the commitment and effort of our members and board of directors, inspiring us to enhance our service to the community even further. Moving forward, the cooperative is looking to achieving more milestones together to further help communities and cater cooperative members more. What is AFLATOUN International? 3 Pillars Aflatoun started in Mumbai, India, in 1991 as an action research project by Jeroo Billimoria who at that time was working at the T ata School of Social Studies. She began a project with schools to bring rich and poor children together to learn about each other’s lives. Aflatoun International is an NGO based in the Netherlands offering social and financial education to children and young people worldwide. Through a strong network of 345 partners and 38 governments, the organization reaches 10.5 million children and young people each year in 108 countries The Aflatoun character represents a fireball from outer space. The name derives from India, where children named it after a fun-loving, good-hearted and slightly mischievous character from a Bollywood movie called ‘Aflatoon’. Aflatoun is also the Arabic name for Plato, the Greek philosopher who promoted an idealistic notion of citizenship. Must be a member-depositor of the cooperative 2. Entry Age is 18- 65 years old 3. Renewable up to 99 years old (continuous) 4. Exit age is 100th Birthday 5. In good health, mentally competent and physically able. 6. Maximum aggregate limit off Php 300,000.00 capital share per member. CLPP COOP Loan Protection Plan A group term insurance that covers the loan obligation of the member/borrower of the cooperative / financial institution. Benefits: Upon the death of borrower, his/her insured loan will be paid by CLIMBS; thus, reducing the beneficiary/ies' financial burden. Features: 1. Loan Insurance coverage for the Member-borrower of Cooperative or Financial Institution. 2. Premium is computed per thousand per month bases. 3. Protection is usually co-terminus with the term of the loan. 4. Maximum term of Thirty-six (36) months. Effectivity: The effectivity of the Loan Protection shall commence on the date the loan is release. Eligibility: 1. GLAFI Group Life and Accident with Fire Insurance A group accident insurance with natural death and fire cash assistance. Features: -Term of Plan : One (1) Year (Renewable) Eligibility: 1. Must be 18-69 years old. - Exit age is 70th Birthday - Accident related benefits will end on 65th Birthday - In good health, mentally competent and physically able. 2. Member must have single policy per year per coop only. 3. 100% Participation requirement but not less than 25 eligible members. 4. KYSE Kids and Youth Secure A group yearly renewable term insurance for KIDS and YOUTH who are laboratory members of the cooperative or dependents of cooperative members. Eligibility: 1. Must be a member of the laboratory cooperative or dependents of the cooperative members. 2. Must be 4 to 17 years old; Exit age is on the 18th birthday 3. Single Policy per member per coop per year only 4. In good health, mentally competent and physically able. BANTAY PROTECTION Bantay Protection for Barangay Tanods and Security Guards A group yearly renewable term insurance designed to provide protection for Barangay Tanods and Security Guards. Eligibility: 1. All regular, full-time and actively at work employees or workers. 2. 18-64 years old. 3. In good health, mentally competent and physically able. Requirements: 1.
